Bhelkhana – Known as the “ice dragon that freezes all” or the “iceborn wyvern”, few records exist of Velkhana. So they remain shrouded in mystery. Their ice breath is so cold that it can create massive ice walls and spears out of nowhere, and is powerful enough to freeze other monsters. Some reports indicate that Velkhana will suspend its rivals to establish its domain.

raised crimeGlow is valstrax – Risen Crimson Glow Valstrux are large dragons who have found a way to overcome their hardships. By suppressing the Curio virus, they gained great strength and new abilities. Their abundance of dragon power gave them greater agility and more devastating explosive power. Few will be able to withstand their ferocious attacks. When their anger reaches its peak, they will enter their awakened state and their bodies will begin to burn.

April 2023 – Free Title Update 5 (Version 15) with returning Elder Dragons and powered-up monsters.

A frigid force of nature few scientists have ever seen is making its way to the Frost Islands. Velkhana, the elusive Elder Dragon that debuted as its flagship monster Monster Hunter World: Icy, spotted by scouts from the Elgado outpost. This monster’s wonderfully cold demeanor foreshadows the serene stillness of many creatures in its wake. By glaciating the surrounding water in the air, Velkhana is capable of creating massive columns of ice while engaged in battle, and can freeze even the most hot-headed predators. The winds of winter often bring tidings of fall, and the arrival of Risen Crimson Glow Valstrux proves the adage to be true. What this Risen Elder Dragon is capable of remains a mystery, as it is deemed too dangerous to study. Hunters dedicated to gathering more data for their relentlessly inquisitive science teams can encounter Velkhana starting at MR 10, and Risen Crimson Glow Valstrax starting at MR 160. Any materials collected on these travels will surely be invaluable for crafting new weapons and armor with their own unique characteristics skills

Curios-curios will also have new Anomaly Research at their fingertips, Afflicted Chaotic Gore will join the Magala A8★ quest, and the Anomaly Investigation cap will increase to 220. The Elder Dragon will start appearing at difficulty level 111, so be ready for a fight! Event Quests will continue to arrive every week, including an Arena Quest as well as two new Dual Threat Quests featuring Seething Bazelgeuse and Chaotic Gore Magala. angerous Rajang and reproached Magnamalo. Each event quest has its own unique rewards, so be sure to try them out.

Free Title Update 4 also brings a variety of new paid DLC, including the Rookie Hunter Lance Gun and Layered Armor for the venerable Run Page. These adorable doodles, hand-drawn by unsung talent Minoto, have been featured since release. Monster Hunter Rise And help new hunters understand the ins and outs of Kamura Village.
