Rumored NVIDIA RTX 4090 Ti specs have surfaced
A quick update on the RTX 4090 Ti specs has been shared by Kopite7kimi himself.
It looks like we’re getting closer to NVIDIA making RTX 40 graphics cards available even faster. Just 2 days ago, a new leak confirmed that NVIDIA is working on it 800W Titan GPU, probably equipped with 48 GB of memory. Today we learned that TITAN and RTX 4090 Ti should actually be two different models.
According to Kopite, the RTX 4090 Ti will have a cut-down AD102 GPU with 18176 cores (1792 cores more than the RTX 4090), an upgraded memory in a 24 Gbps module, and a TBP of 600W. The last part isn’t exactly clear if it’s referring to TDP, TGP, or just maximum board power. In any case, this could just be the higher default board power (450W+), while the maximum configurable power limit is the same as the RTX 4090 Ti (600W). This is the limit of a 16-power connector.

Faster memory chips suggest the card will have a maximum bandwidth of 1152 GB/s, so 144 GB/s faster than any RTX 4090 on the market right now. It should also be noted that Copyite is confirming the board numbers of PG136 and PG139. These are the NVIDIA Reference and Founders Edition board numbers In other words, the RTX 4090 Ti will have the same board as the RTX 4090.
It’s no secret that NVIDIA has been planning this card for a long time. One of the first things to leak ahead of the RTX 40 launch was this metal piece of the new cooler design, which was later used for the RTX 4090 non-TI model.
Copy does not confirm when such cards will be released. In fact, there seems to be no reason to launch a new flagship TI model right now. On the other hand, NVIDIA is now expected to have a GTC keynote in March, which would be a good place to announce a new TITAN.
